Resetting The Canterbury Tales: Stage 1

I realize we needed to have our own pictures but that hasn't been an option at the moment so I will use these for this draft until I can acquire my own photos. The web addresses of the following photos are at the end of this post.

  1. Like you said, you will need to create and/or capture your own photos, but for the most part your concept is well thought out. You have a lot to choose from, so I would suggest clearly defining the main points you are trying to get across before coming to a final conclusion. I like that your new setting modernizes a timeless story while also adding a new layer to it. Personally, I would choose one picture that includes the airplane aspect of the story, one that focuses on the inside of the airport, and one that focuses on the group aspect at some location inside the airport. Be sure to vary viewpoints and dramatic angles, etc. I chose those three pictures because they compound on your main ideas and furthermore, those main ideas are what you should emphasize as you add more elements to your project.

  2. The first thing I noticed when I looked at your pictures was your image progression. It's perfect for the plot you told us about. I like the images of the crowded airport and of people waiting to board their planes. It sets the setting of your piece perfectly. I would suggest that you go to Hartsfield and take your own pictures. It will make your project more original and you may find settings that better follow your story.I don't think you need any image manipulation or editing. One of the pictures from the bar seemed blurry. You could easily fix that on photoshop.
